ThriftCon, the nation’s largest vintage and secondhand market, is currently looking for a freelance videographer that is eager to help us tell stories through video content. As a part of the team, you’ll work with our production manager, creative director, and cofounder to produce both long and short form videos. As a convention that has multiple destinations throughout the year, we will need someone who is comfortable traveling as well as filming and editing on the road.

Responsibilities:

• Produce both long and short form videos
• Travel to different convention destinations and film/edit on the road
• Create reels, TikToks, and YouTube shorts
• Assist in producing and editing an episodic series on niche avenues of vintage
• Recognize spontaneous moments worth capturing on film
• Bring new content ideas to the table
• Turn around content quickly and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in filming (preferred)
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

• Affinity for thrifting, upcycling, fashion, secondhand, and/or vintage
• Knowledgeable of current trends and sources in the growing movement

Pay:

$3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
