Job Description:
Immersive theater company looking to fill an assistant event producer position for a 25-34 day event in Seattle mid September through November 5th.
About the Company:
House of Spirits is an immersive theater program featuring comedians, actors, singers, musicians, improv actors, and background actors. Guests are encouraged to speak with the talent to try and uncover the hidden secrets of the mansion. Part immersive theater part cocktail soiree. This is the second season this project is in Seattle (first in Chicago and DC, second in Nashville, third in New York and Dallas, and forth in Los Angeles), and we are so excited. We work hard, and we have fun doing it.
Requirements:
- Must be available for all dates of show, including load in, loud out, and TBD dates. Do not apply if you are not available for all listed dates below.
Dates:
- Load in: 9/17 - 9/21
- Show dates: 9/22 - 9/24, 9/29 - 10/1, 10/6 - 10/8, 10/12 - 10/15, 10/19 - 10/22, 10/25 - 10/29, 10/31
- TBD dates: 10/18
- Load out: 11/1 - 11/5
Duties:
- Help to coordinate all aspects of the event
- Overseeing entire event
- Overseeing all vendor relationships (such as security, EMT, porta potties, etc.)
- Overseeing all Event Staff/Brand Ambassadors
- Managing show operations
- Performing site inspections
- Ensuring timelines are being followed
- Maintaining logistical integrity of the show
- Assisting with set up and pre-show tasks
- Assisting with post-show tasks
- Using radios to communicate effectively with management and staff
- Maintaining a clean and safe work place
- Assisting with Event Staff/Brand Ambassador replacement as needed
- Assisting General Manager and Lead Event Producer/Asst. Event Producer
- Maintaining an open line of communication with General Manager
- Any other tasks as requested by the General Manager and Lead Event Producer
Compensation:
Wage is $1,000 to $1,300 per week depending on experience.
