Overview

Anthropologie is seeking a passionate, creative & detail-oriented designer to join our Digital Creative Team. The Digital Designer is a hands-on design role for individuals with a superb sense of typography, strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium. This role is responsible for the concept + design of all digital content, from marketing emails, homepages, landing pages, social, and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create visual assets for all of Anthropologie’s digital channels; web, social media, apps, banners, emails, etc.
  • Pull swipe and build mood boards, to visually explore digital experiences and content.
  • Work with the rest of the Digital Creative team in developing and maintaining the look and feel of the Anthropologie brand online; as well as establishing style guides and internal documentation.
  • Initiate collaboration with merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists in the production of consistent and captivating brand messages.
  • Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the digital space, staying up to date on best practices, and basic UX/UI.
  • Work closely with both post-production and web production teams to ensure quality results.
  • Manage and approve design work from Jr. Digital Designers as well as work closely with the Digital Designer.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of digital design experience in the ecommerce, retail, or agency space
  • Fluency in industry standard software suite; especially Photoshop,Illustrator, After Effects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of interactive capabilities and best practices.
  • Experience in graphic design is required; experience in web design is regarded favorably.
  • Strong typography skills.
  • An interest or past experience in the retail, fashion and home lifestyle industries. Maintaining a knowledge of trends and best practices.
  • Thrives and innovates under challenging deadlines, while remaining a team player.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Web/Digital Media Design, Fine Arts, Advertising or equivalent.
