About the Role & Team:
TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Producer based in Miami. The senior producer in this role will be required to work closely with show executive producer on the show rundown, editorial input, writing, field and post-production and execution of promotional plan. In addition, the successful candidate needs to be an effective storyteller, able to work well with talent and interviewees, guide the field crew to assure quality, style and uniformity is maintained in order to effectively brand the segments and make last minute decisions. Planning and production of reports and development of show graphics including informational banners. The candidate should maintain good and clear communication with managers, as well as the show’s executive producer, anchors, production team, technical crews and producers of Univision’s platforms where the show segments will be scheduled to run.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Research, write and produce assigned stories…
- Create and develop original content for program
- Work closely with executive producer on developing the rundown of the program
- Work closely with production crew and editors providing direction and preliminary approvals
- Work closely with Talent in the production of the show segments
- Assist in coordination of strategy across Univision platforms – linear, digital, social, local, audio, & events
- Collaborate with Network News Show producers in leveraging all relevant existing content across Univision platforms
You Have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a producer for entertainment news program
- Strong research and writing skills
- Working knowledge of INews.
- Strong creative vision and good editorial judgment
- Strong understanding of Hispanic market
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
- PC and MAC proficient (Microsoft Office)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish verbal and written skills
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
