Role Summary

Art Direction: We’re as insightful and conceptual as ever—constantly innovating and finding new ways for brands to bring their story to life. And we’re doing it with more and more ease. Our ability to interpret feedback is stronger, and we’re mastering the art direction craft with our own distinct visual voice. While we’re still a major force of idea generation, our creative directors are beginning to entrust us with responsibilities beyond brainstorms, creative decks and art direction alone. We’re leaning even more into the production of our ideas: key visuals, social media production, storyboard video concepts, mockups, storytelling presentations and connecting the dots between mediums in 360 campaigns.

Our specialty: We roll up our sleeves to get to the idea—then tinker and toil 'til it’s just right.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Be yourself.
  • Maintains high quality on creative deliverables.
  • Supports larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation.
  • Assists in asset creation and delivers work they’re proud of.
  • Has a strong strategic sense and can concept against a creative brief.
  • Stays current on latest industry trends.
  • Assists creative lead in research and presentation materials.
  • Presents work internally and is occasionally introduces to present to the client.

Management/Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Completes self-reviews.
  • Inputs time consistently.
  • Participates and helps plan community-building events.
  • Receptive to constructive criticism.
  • Is proactive in finding ways to support the creative team.
  • Finds moments to mentor junior art directors.
  • Be cool.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4 – 6 years art directing for an advertising, design studio or marketing agency.
  • Exceptional portfolio that includes strong art direction and conceptual thinking.
  • Strong command of standard design and layout applications.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, mobile experiences, and social media landscape.
  • Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Google Docs.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or Advertising/Portfolio school.
