Overview

Helios Defense Solutions, LLC seeks a highly motivated, qualified Role Player Personnel (RPP) on a contract basis to perform as a role-player and immerse yourself in different roles to replicate indigenous or local populations. As an RPP, you’ll play a crucial part in creating authentic training experiences that prepare our military for diverse and complex situations. Qualified applicants must be flexible and innovative and employ scheduling techniques to minimize costs and maximize performance.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serving as indigenous or local personnel, embodying the mannerisms, customs, language, and appearance of specified pre-planned geographic regions.
• Following scenario-based training “scripts,” which may involve activities like gathering in public places, living remotely, participating in demonstrations or protests, and maintaining character behavior.
• Observing and documenting the execution of training scenarios during each training event, with your observations used for After-Action reporting by staff.
• Adhering to assigned work hours, which may involve up to twelve “in-field” hours per day as outlined in task orders.
• Acting as a detainee during training scenarios.
• Using foreign-language skills while in role, which may include speaking English, “gibberish,” or any known language. Fluency is not required when acting as a foreign-language speaker.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s licenses
• Must be a US Citizen and possess a current U.S. passport
• Possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all required functions.
• Be physically fit, and able to demonstrate performance of all required tasks and skills, to US military age-equivalent standards, and able to work in all-weather conditions and environment, in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, while completing multiple tasks, and meeting stringent timelines.
• Be able to work alternate schedules to satisfy training requirements; day, night, weekday and weekend operations, as required.
• Shall speak English; knowledge of additional languages is highly desired.
