Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Freelance Sports Photographer to collaborate with us on a project-by-project basis. As a Freelance Sports Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing the energy, excitement, and defining moments of various sports events. Your ability to anticipate and freeze action through your lens will be essential in producing compelling sports photographs. If you have a keen eye for sports photography, a strong portfolio, and a knack for storytelling through images, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sports Event Coverage: Attend and photograph a wide range of sports events, from local games to professional matches, capturing key moments and action sequences.
• Action Photography: Use your expertise to capture fast-paced action and critical plays, ensuring a focus on athletes’ expressions, emotions, and athleticism.
• Equipment Management: Ensure all photography equipment is well-maintained and suitable for the demands of sports photography.
• Post-production: Edit and retouch sports photos to enhance their visual appeal and storytelling, while maintaining the authenticity of the moments captured.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, event organizers, and sports teams to understand their photography needs and provide professional insights and guidance.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, travel, and resources efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional sports photographer with a portfolio showcasing your expertise in sports photography.
• Proficiency in photography and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Excellent understanding of sports, athletes’ movements, and the ability to anticipate and capture key moments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately in fast-paced sports environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different sports and event settings.
• Own photography equipment suitable for sports photography.

Compensation Section:

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect your skills, performance, and commitment to delivering exceptional results. We offer a multi-faceted compensation package, including:

Hourly Rate:

We offer a competitive hourly rate that reflects your experience and expertise in sports photography. This base rate provides financial stability for your work on our projects.

Bonus Structure:

We believe in incentivizing excellence. As a Freelance Sports Photographer, you have the opportunity to earn bonuses based on the number of projects you successfully complete and the satisfaction of our valued clients. The more projects you excel in, and the higher your client satisfaction scores, the more you can earn in bonuses.

Commission:

We encourage you to build a book of business by bringing in new clientele who require photography services. For each new client you bring to Endeko Media, you will receive a commission. Your ability to expand our client base will be rewarded.

Project Budget:

We understand that successful portrait photography may require additional resources such as extra photographers, travel expenses, or meals. When budget allowances are available for these items, you will receive a portion of the allocated project budget to cover your associated expenses.

Pay:

$19.57 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours:

1 – 30 per week
