Contract: Temporary, Full-time

Description:

CAD Designer-Seeking self starter and motivated individual to join our team!

Monday-Friday 8AM -5PM

Duties:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Develop and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements
• Assemble and build prototypes based on design specifications
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement
• Perform technical writing to document design processes and procedures
• Assist in the development of 2D animations for presentations and demonstrations

Skills:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Investor
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of FEA techniques and software tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
