Job Description:

Little Creators Club is hiring part-time after school instructors to teach kids the basics of board game design for the upcoming 2022-23 school year! We’re looking for passionate and dedicated teachers who have a good understanding of board games and card games or are willing to obtain a good understanding of these games. Little Creators Club has a quick and enjoyable onboarding/training timeline to get instructors comfortable with the program in time for clubs to start up. Retirees and students are encouraged to apply!

• Des Moines
• Urbandale
• Waukee
• Johnston
• Ankeny
• Knoxville

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields.
• Have your own dependable transportation.
• Be able to clear a background check (Federal and State).
• Be available at least 3 afternoons per week to lead a club (Specific time depends on the school district, but typically somewhere between 2:30pm and 5:30pm).
• Be able to handle some light lifting to carry the materials contained in small totes.
• Have a good understanding of light to medium board and card games or be willing to gain this level of understanding.

Grade Levels and Pay:

Little Creators Club is searching for instructors to lead after school clubs that range from 3rd to 5th grade (elementary schools) and 6th grade to 7th grade (middle schools). Instructors are paid between $40 to $70 per class session. Each session’s pay depends on the session’s run time and class size.
