About the Part-Time Production Coordinator Role:

BRIC seeks a part-time Production Coordinator to assist BRIC TV staff with the day-to-day scheduling, administration and content updates for BRIC TV. This is a temporary position lasting through mid-March 2024.

What You’ll Do in the Role:

  • Oversee television playback schedule and menu guide; communicate with BRIC master control and cable service providers
  • Communicate with supervisor and BRIC TV staff on scheduling and curation strategy for including new premieres and refreshed content to the broadcast schedule routinely.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including document preparation, document retention, and scheduling related to content for the channel via the automation system.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and BRIC TV on Media Asset Management (MAM) planning and resourcing.
  • Assist with and collaborate on ways the MAM should be customized to accommodate BRIC TV content with efficient access and workflow.
  • Work with the supervisor and Administrative Coordinator to identify older content and source/acquire new content to refresh the BRIC TV broadcast channel routinely.
  • Track the amount of released content on digital and terrestrial platforms routinely (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and send reports as needed.
  • Assist in data analysis and presentation, including viewership data.

  • Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years administrative and organizational work experience
  • Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Crispin, MAM and Master Control technologies
  • Communication: An emotionally intelligent, values, and results-driven team player who can collaborate across departments and at all levels of the organization. An excellent communicator who prioritizes customer service.
  • Commitment to Equity & Inclusion: Brings experience operationalizing equity within this role.

  • Compensation: The rate for this position is $25/hour.
  • Status and location: This is a temporary part-time position lasting through mid-March 2024. This role requires an in-office presence.
