Over time, this vision has grown to encompass the stories of the full range of people and communities who have been excluded or persecuted for their faith, ethnicity, gender or sexuality.
Job Description
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to promote our performances and other programs, to increase our online presence, and to reinforce our messaging and brand. This remote-work position is compensated at an hourly rate of $25, with an expected workload of 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital marketing plan.
- Coordinate with MOR’s leadership team to create digital marketing campaigns for its live concerts, its streamed programs and its fundraising efforts.
- Manage MOR’s social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Optimize MOR’s website to increase traffic and conversions to ticket sales.
- Conduct audits for social media and website marketing performance.
- Track marketing metrics and analyze digital data to measure marketing effectiveness and identify needed improvements.
- Build and expand MOR’s online community of new and existing stakeholders (e.g. fans, organizations, artists, management offices, etc.)
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing that includes designing and executing social media campaigns.
- Strong English skills, and an ability to create effective messaging about MOR and its programs.
- Thorough understanding of social media and digital marketing platforms, including Search Engine Optimization and Facebook Meta Business tools.
- Expertise with graphic design programs such as Canva, Adobe CC and similar tools.
- Knowledge of video editing programs such as Premiere Pro or similar tools.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong time management ability, and an ability to be effective working remotely with little or no direct oversight.
- A commitment to nurturing the community that surrounds MOR and how it relates to people.
- A demonstrated understanding of the performing arts ecosystem would be a strong plus.
