You are the face of the Brand

Your role is to help bring awareness to the brand at the point of sale by driving strong productivity and sales results. You will ensure that customers are given high-level, high-quality service by maintaining a tidy and presentable counter/gondola, advising customers by utilizing expert product knowledge and demonstration of the full product range, and you will be charged with ensuring store teams are trained and motivated on a daily basis.

SALES & BRAND AWARENESS

• Achieve basic business and event sales plans
• Welcome clients and identify their needs
• Provide outstanding quality of service by following sales techniques, service codes, and conduct demonstration of products
• Represent the brand image through interpersonal skills and style
• Communicate category trends and key product performance

IN-STORE & POINT OF SALE

• Inspect and ensure necessary stock levels are maintained (i.e., ensuring minimum display quantities are correct and implemented)
• Ensure planograms/merchandising guidelines are consistently and frequently inspected
• Ensure the counter/gondola is spotless, clean, and well maintained

RELATIONSHIPS

• Develop and leverage positive retailer relationships to maximize store level support
• Build and maintain successful relationships between team, management and retailer employees
• Actively follow social channels; Engage online by posting approved content on social media (approved guidelines will be provided)

TRAINING

• Assist in training and coaching of new team members in the market
• Assist in training and coaching of retailer Beauty Advisors, Makeup Artists and Retail teams on Kylie brand, product knowledge & selling approach
• Assist the National Makeup Artist and/or National Trainer in point-of-sale projects when requested (i.e., training sessions, in-store coaching initiative, retail events, etc.)

THE IDEAL FIT

• Minimum of 2 years field experience as a working Beauty Advisor/Makeup Artist, in key luxury retail environment; (fashion industry/theater/movie industry experience welcomed)
• Ability to interact with customers, provide excellent customer service, and build customer loyalty and repeat business
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills
• Strong team spirit and ability to work well with others; Leads by example
• Strong passion for the makeup/beauty industry
• Connected to the brand values; Able to understand Kylie’s aesthetics and style; social savvy
• Experience operating retailer POS systems
