What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Pie-Loving Content Creator to join our Collective.

With 6+ locations around the Metro-Detroit area, Pie Collective is based in Troy, MI. This role is Part-Time, and is a hybrid between Remote Work and In-Studio Work.

This candidate will manage our in-house content creation efforts for digital and traditional marketing. You should love creating content, and have a knack for taking charge, selling your ideas, and executing the crap out of them. Scope for this role includes both product and lifestyle photography and videography for use across our website, advertising, social media, product packaging, in-store materials, and many other customer-facing platforms.

Candidates will need to provide their portfolio link as part of their submission.

Preferred: candidate has a hankering for creating mouth-watering content (and pie-lovers are a plus!)

What you’ll do:

• Follow Existing brand guidelines + style to create cohesive content across all channels
• Lead in-house content creation efforts for photo & video (Using both DSLRs - Mirrorless and Cell Phones)
• Coordinate photo and video needs; you will work directly with our creative team/department leads and Art Director to create any needed product or lifestyle photo/video shoots. This includes but is not limited to:
• Customer Service videos; training videos, product assembly tutorials
• Product and Lifestyle photography
• Marketing assets: Work with the marketing team to create needed assets for our website and other marketing materials
• Social media: You’ll be responsible to help plan with for and posting content on our social media channels - Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
• Product Videos: You’ll need to have experience with product videography and studio lighting. Video production for advertising and product videos, as well as customer service product assembly videos
• Asset Management: Manage/organize our creative assets to make sure our new and existing creative assets are uploaded and saved appropriately.
• Timely turnaround: You’ll be asked to work in a fast-paced environment and manage many projects at once. Being able to manage many on-going projects is a must for this job role.
• Leverage the latest technology and trends in visual content creation to tell stories and connect with audiences across all platforms (both online and offline).
• Manage all in-house and third-party photo and video shoots
• Develop and grow our content creation team
• Manage our Content Calendar
• Will perform additional responsibilities when required
• Going to events to take photos and post

The content creator is an experienced photographer and videographer with a passion for creating. (Bonus points if they’re a big fan of pie!)

As the Content Creator, you will be a driving force of our customer-facing marketing material that ultimately sells and represents our products. This is a key hire for our creative team.

Who You Are:

• A killer portfolio full of engaging, mouth-watering content
• 1-3 years experience creating content and managing social media platforms for brands
• Ability to create short form and long form content
• Proficient in Adobe products and Google Drive products: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premier, Docs, Sheets (After Effects not required, but nice to have!)
• Skilled photographer and videographer with the ability and willingness to learn new skills and understanding of lighting techniques.
• A business-minded creator that knows how to create product assets to help market and sell products
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage many on-going projects across multiple areas of our business
• Knowledge of studio photography and light setup
• Knowledge of lifestyle photography and light setup
• Knowledge of basic retouching
• Knowledge of Focus Stacking (Not Required but nice to have!)
• Knowledge of Copywriting for social (Not Required but nice to have!)

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
