• MUST sit in Phenix AZ - This role requires onsite work

Description:

Our Client is seeking a UI/UX Engineer to join the Enterprise Architecture Team.

As part of the team, you will lead UX solution priorities and work along with other engineers to deliver outstanding digital experience for their internal facing web application. This includes user friendly dashboard for internal management to be able to see where every single project is; if it needs more resources, how much funding is left etc.

• Design responsive and adaptive user experiences that are intuitive and elegant and in line with current design trends and concepts
• Translate high-level objectives and design principles into polished visual design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality, cross-browser-compatible code
• Interpret business needs into effective visual communication tools
• Optimizing components for maximum accessibility & performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Automating builds, testing, deployments and otherwise manual processes
• Collaborate closely with designers to identify and communicate specific requirements that might influence design decisions
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to drive adoption of the DLS

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and CSS, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Proficient with CSS2/CSS3
• Hands on experience with React.js and its core principles
• Proficient in creating wireframes, mockups, and sketches in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or similar
• Ability to create userflows
• Knowledge of accessibility and Web Standards
• Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design
• Experience with using design language systems or similar
• Familiarity with web components
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.
• Experience writing automated tests including unit, integration, visual and performance testing.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Ability to perform benchmarking and optimization
