Contract: Full Time, Temporary

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide analytical and technical support for the CCIT Web development Team in the area of Extension. The position will actively interact with customers and assist the team manager in determining project scopes and timelines based on priorities and resources. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

  • 40% - Essential - CCIT Web Team Development: Lead projects to which you are assigned. These projects will be based in Extension to include the portfolio as identified by the Governance Committee. Direct and manage those team members assigned to you for the development life cycle. Help to organize tasks and assignments based on priority. Provide feedback to the supervisor when problems arise.
  • 40% - Essential - SalesForce Support: Learn and be able to modify SalesForce to meet the needs of the Extension Office. This will include analyzing requests for the best approach and solution alternatives. Lead efforts in coding, debugging, testing, and documenting all maintenance activities.
  • 10% - Essential - Operational Support: Provide support to existing Extension Web Applications. Assist in coding, debugging, testing, and documenting all maintenance activities. Serve on-call rotation duty as required.
  • 10% - Essential - On-Call Responsibilities: Be on team on-call rotation assignments. Provide feedback and assist in troubleshooting with the NOC.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education - A bachelor’s degree in communications, computer science, or a related field and experience in information technology. Related experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in web development and modification with an emphasis on PHP.

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

  • Standard Hours: 37.5
  • Expected Salary Range ($ 54,974.00 - $ 65,000.00)

Essential Personnel Level:

  • Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
