Leeds Beckett Students’ Union is a not-for-profit organisation representing Leeds Beckett students. They are seeking a skilled freelance videographer to capture the vibrant moments of their Freshers events, particularly focusing on the Freshers Fairs. As a freelance videographer, you’ll play a key role in documenting the energy and excitement that define student life at Leeds Beckett University. You’ll collaborate with their Marketing Team to create content that reflects the experience of their Freshers Week.

Responsibilities:

• Attend and film events
• Collaborate with the team to understand the desired visual narrative
• Produce high-quality videos aligned with our brand and messaging
• Edit and deliver videos promptly for marketing and communication purposes
• Provide videos for social media and the Students’ Union website

Requirements:

• Have your own equipment
• Proficiency in DSLR cameras, lighting, and editing software
• Strong grasp of composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups
• Flexible schedule, including evenings
• Proven event videography experience (D)
