What We Need

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic artist to join our post-production team, specializing in facial retopology. Our team processes all of the facial scan data for 2K’s sports titles, including NBA 2K, WWE 2K, and PGA Tour 2K. To manage these varied projects, adeptness in working between multiple programs and processes is incredibly valuable. Also, each of our clients has specific data delivery needs/formats, so willingness to learn and understand specific pipelines and workflows is essential to success in this role. We expect this assignment to last up to 12 months.

What You’ll Do

  • Sculpt high-resolution characters from photogrammetry data
  • Create clean game retopology, UVs and textures
  • Interpret photographic reference and scans
  • Work with art lead to learn best practices/retopology pipeline
  • Work with outsourcing partners as needed

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • Willingness to accept direction and redo/reiterate work until it is right
  • 1+ year experience in the video game industry
  • 1+ year of experience with Maya
  • Experience with facial anatomy, rigging, organic modeling preferred
  • Knowledge of scripting with MEL and Python preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, coordinating and working with multiple departments to achieve set goals
  • Active, passionate interest in current video games and technology to help drive our products to the next level
  • Portfolio/website demonstrating technical skills
