Role Description:
We are seeking a talented and versatile freelance videographer to join our team on a project-to-project basis. If you thrive on creating high-quality content and have a passion for storytelling, this role is for you. As a freelance videographer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects with different budgets, showcasing your creativity and technical skills in shooting and editing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to video projects, providing specialist skills in both shooting and editing.
- Adapt to different shooting scenarios, ranging from working as a self-shooting direction to working in larger productions, collaborating with producers, camera assistants, and directors when required.
- Collaborate with Video Lead and account teams to develop and execute client-approved creative treatments, scripts, and shot lists.
- Bring passion and expertise to every project, regardless of its scale or purpose, such as social media posts, corporate videos, case studies, PR footage, and branded content.
- Work closely and confidently with clients and team members on set.
- Develop production schedules and run sheets in coordination with the team.
- Manage project files, footage, versioning, and archiving effectively.
Development & Collaboration:
- Respond to feedback with expert solutions, working closely with Video Lead, in-house Creatives, and accounts team.
- Have a solid understanding of tailoring content for specific distribution channels and audiences.
Technical Expertise:
- An expert in Adobe Premiere, including mastering audio and grading with Lumetri.
- Experience shooting corporate videos, social videos, and digital ads, including both lighting, camera operation, and basic audio recording.
- Intermediate skills with After Effects, Resolve, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desirable.
- Experience with drones and gimbals desirable.
- Experience as an interviewer, gaffer, sound recordist highly regarded.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of industry experience, preferably working with a creative agency or production company environment.
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a diverse portfolio showcasing your skills in shooting and editing.
- Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment and software, particularly Adobe Premiere.
- Intermediate skills with After Effects, Resolve, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to adapt to different project requirements.
