Responsibilities:

The Creative Director at Birdy Grey will play a pivotal role in maintaining and championing the creative vision for the brand across various platforms, from marketing assets and the e-commerce website to emails, social media, printed collateral, and more. They will be responsible for developing creative concepts, overseeing all aspects of the creative function, and leading and managing photo shoots, including planning, styling, casting, execution, retouching, and deployment of assets. The role also involves ensuring brand consistency, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing department budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 10+ years of experience in designing across digital, print, video, and physical user experiences.
• 5+ years of experience managing and growing creative teams.
• 5+ years of experience in apparel, especially in E-commerce and DTC, ideally in the dress space.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC programs.
• Strong design-thinking skills and experience with color theory and correction.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and take initiative.
• Start-up experience and an interest in bridal and fashion are nice to haves.
