About the Role:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Spark Streaming, Kafka, Event Handling, and API Creation Specialist either possessing own visa or working on a Freelance visa. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining real-time data processing solutions using technologies such as Apache Spark Streaming, Apache Kafka, and API creation. Your contribution will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of data, efficient event handling, and the development of robust APIs to facilitate smooth data consumption.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining real-time data processing solutions using Apache Spark Streaming and Apache Kafka.
• Writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code in languages such as Scala or Java.
• Creating and implementing APIs, particularly utilizing RESTful API technologies.
• Applying event-driven architecture principles and best practices in the development process.
• Handling data serialization formats such as JSON, Avro, or Parquet.
• Integrating, transforming, and ensuring the quality of data.
• Utilizing Nodejs, PowerBI, and GIS technologies for enhanced data handling and visualization (added advantage).

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala or Java, with a strong ability to develop efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing APIs using technologies like RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture principles and best practices.
• A strong understanding of data serialization formats like JSON, Avro, or Parquet.
• Knowledge of data integration, transformation, and data quality concepts.
• Familiarity with Nodejs, PowerBI, and GIS will be considered an added advantage.
