After 40 years of iconic films and series, Aardman is making games – great games. You’ll be joining a world-class team of game industry veterans working on exciting new cross platform games.

The project: We’re working with a major publisher on a new game based on one our best loved IPs. When working with IPs, our number one priority is always to create games that are inventive, creative and unique in their own right – so that people who have never heard of the characters would still want to play it. Our new project is a real time stealth game. It takes the strategic, tense fun of stealth games and blends it with frenetic, chaotic mechanics to create a unique player experience. It’s launching on mobile first, followed closely by PC and other platforms.

The role: As Assistant Producer, you will be responsible for supporting the Producer and discipline leads to ensure the game production runs smoothly, efficiently, and that the team are happy and motivated. You will be helping to document and manage Agile processes: reviews, retrospectives and planning, and assisting the team with tracking tasks and progress. You’ll facilitate good communication between the team by helping with best practice across messaging and meetings, ensuring information is tracked and actions are updated in task management systems. You’ll have the opportunity to help set up and manage user testing, documenting the results and championing the benefits of user research, and you’ll be liaising with and helping QA teams and process, ensuring bugs are tracked thoroughly and prioritised correctly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their games career or transitioning from a different discipline. Based in Bristol, we’re looking for someone able to work in the studio or hybrid (3 days a week in the studio).
