Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Photographer and Video Editor with a deep passion and mastery of visual storytelling through photography and video content. The ideal candidate will have a rich portfolio showcasing their ability to capture breathtaking visuals and edit compelling videos. This position involves full-time commitment, on-call availability, and occasional travel to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photography:
• Produce captivating images consistent with our brand identity.
• Plan and execute on-location and studio photoshoots.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard projects.
• Ensure top-notch quality in photography, including composition, lighting, and post-processing.
• Video Recording:
• Capture high-quality video footage using various equipment and techniques.
• Operate cameras, drones, and other video equipment proficiently.
• Maintain and manage video equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adapt to diverse shooting conditions and locations.
• Video Editing:
• Edit and post-process video content to craft engaging narratives.
• Enhance videos with graphics, animations, and special effects as required.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain an organized library of video assets.
• Software Proficiency:
• Profound expertise in Adobe Photoshop for advanced image editing.
• Mastery of video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Edius, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to ensure the highest quality work.
• Travel and On-Call:
• Be prepared to travel to different locations as needed for assignments.
• Maintain on-call availability for urgent projects or last-minute assignments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Film, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Senior Photographer and Video Editor with a stellar portfolio.
• Proficiency in photography and videography equipment and software.
• Exceptional skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Edius, and DaVinci Resolve.
• A keen artistic vision and creative mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Create rough and final cuts.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Skills:

• Proficient in using cinema-grade editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
