FanHub is the one brand that provides football fans with recognition and reward for their loyalty to their clubs. Our mobile app gamifies fan behavior. Fans check in at stadiums and play prediction games to earn an in-app currency that can then be redeemed for rewards such as free beer and merch.

We’ve reached 100,000+ downloads organically, have killer retention metrics, and even reached the App Store top 10 in the sports category!

We believe fans are the jewel in the crown of sport, so we are building an ecosystem that enables fans to monetise their own data, content and attention. We are funded by a tier 1 silicon valley VC and are now scaling our team to accelerate our user growth.

Job Summary:

We are building the brand that shines a light on real fan culture. We are going into the depths of the culture, getting in amongst it on a match day and capturing what football is really about: the fans. Whether it’s the pub, the train or the concourse at half-time… we want to be there.

As a result, we have an opportunity for someone passionate about football and fan culture to gain some valuable experience alongside the FanHub content team: while taking in football matches and the matchday experience! The Fan Culture Videographer will travel alongside the FanHub content team (including Pete Boc& JackChat!), attending matches or pub events to soak up fan culture and the atmosphere, capturing our presenters and other fans on camera. Videos captured will then be edited centrally at FanHub HQ and used on our rapidly growing social channels like TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

This role is part-time and flexible, though strong communication skills and commitment are a must for our planning. There are opportunities for progression should the candidate step up and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Traveling to games as a member of the FanHub content team to capture real football fan culture on video.
• Video taken by yourself will be edited at FanHub centrally and used on our growing social channels.
• The opportunity to have a go on camera to gain some experience is available to the right candidate.

Person Specification:

• Experience in digital content creation is highly advantageous.
• A passion for sports and an understanding of fan culture.
• A determination to capture great content and to get to the heart of the real experience fans have on a matchday.
• Comfortable working on matchdays, including Saturdays and potentially Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings.
• Good communicator that can be depended upon.
