As a Video and Multimedia Production Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the digital learning landscape at our esteemed Business School. Your responsibilities will include recording, producing, and editing video and multimedia content aligned with the research, teaching, and learning objectives of the school. This is a dynamic position that requires collaboration with various teams, ensuring the output adheres to brand guidelines and embodies pedagogic excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and provide video, livestreaming, screen capture, video conferencing, audio recording, and editing services across all departments.
  • Collaborate with teaching, research, and student teams to develop creative video solutions that effectively communicate the intended message.
  • Utilize video analytics to inform pedagogic approaches and enhance learning performance.
  • Ensure video content is accessible and inclusive, supporting features such as synchronized captioning and accessible transcripts.
  • Plan and produce a diverse range of audio and video content for teaching, learning, and research purposes.
  • Provide specialist advice and training to colleagues and students on lighting, video, audio, and editing equipment and software.

The ideal candidate will have experience in video and multimedia creation for learning in a Higher Education setting. Comprehensive knowledge of Audio Visual and Multi-Media technologies is also essential.
