We are looking for a skilled North East based Motion Graphics designer and Final Cut Editor to work on a number of up and coming projects.

The position is perfect for a new graduate looking for real work experience and the option to build their portfolio of work.

The right candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong ability to create high quality motion graphics within Final Cut Pro and Abode After Effects. An aptitude for Apple Motion is also an advantage.

It is essential that the right candidate has access to their own equipment including a Mac Computer, Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects.

It is essential that the successful candidate is adaptable, trustworthy and able to work unaided on the creation of graphics for the project.

The initial term of the placement will be 6 weeks at £11 per hour, with scope to extend.

The successful candidate will be based in our Durham office, working Mon-Thurs 9-5.30 and 9-5 Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and design high quality motion graphics
• Ensure consistency throughout graphic creation
• Work with project leaders to understand project scope and objectives
• Develop and maintain a library of motion graphics assets
• Communicate timelines and project progress to supervisor and team members
• Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure all motion graphics align with the company’s visual identity
• The editing of raw video footage alongside motion graphics to produce final projects may be required.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A strong portfolio showcasing past projects and creative skills.
• Strong knowledge of motion graphic techniques and software.
• Access to a Mac computer, Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
• Ability to work alone to achieve top quality outputs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• A degree in a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 weeks

Salary: £11.00 per hour
