About the Role:

The Digital Design Lead is responsible for the development of visual digital solutions for the company’s medical device division. This includes the design and oversight of websites, mobile apps, UI/UX experience, email, digital ads and social media. This individual designs and guides others through the digital creative process and works closely with the creative director to develop leading-edge digital applications. They also participate in managing the company’s brand from a digital perspective.

• Create, develop and execute complex digital solutions
• Develop effective working relationships with the digital team
• Guides designers through the digital process
• Ensure concept/design consistency across client initiatives and mediums
• Work well within a singular brand and creatively explore its digital potential
• Coordinate and prioritize digital efforts across campaigns and teams
• Present concept/design decks and storyboards to internal clients
• Remain informed of all industry news, creative and general activity
• Collaborate with manager, designers, writers, other marketing team members and internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the digital objective(s) and audience(s)
• Ensures assignments adhere to the approved brand and messaging guidelines to maintain our corporate identity
• Experience presenting information and ideas to clients and internal teams
• Experience generating creative, innovative ideas in a short timeframe

About You:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• At least five years digital direction or senior graphic design experience within an internal or external agency
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field
• At least four years of experience leading digital design of projects from concept to completion
• At least four years of experience leading design work
• Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to concept and direct ideas
• Polished client presentation skills
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Ability to envision creative ways to leverage online ideas and technologies
• High level of proficiency in branding, online marketing and media concepts
• Able to integrate the big idea through all digital mediums
• Intermediate to Expert experience with Mac iOS environment, Adobe Creative Suite software, and Microsoft Office 365 software
