The Zen Agency is seeking a Junior Designer to join our team and work alongside our team to craft engaging and visually stunning designs for a wide range of digital platforms. If you have a portfolio that showcases your design talents and are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Senior Designer: Collaborate with our senior designer to create designs across a range of areas including web assets, social media posts, and other digital content.
• Presentation Design: Assist in designing presentations that effectively communicate our ideas and solutions to clients and internal teams.
• Content Creation: Work closely with our social media manager to produce engaging content for our agency’s social media channels, including graphics, illustrations, and visual elements.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, provide input on creative concepts, and be a proactive team player in achieving project goals.

Must Haves:

• A portfolio showcasing your design work
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• A strong eye for detail, layout, and typography.
• A passion for design and a curious creative mind
• Basic understanding of design principles, including colour theory and composition.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• A passion for staying up-to-date with design trends and digital media.

Nice-to-haves:

• A Degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Adobe After Effects
• Good copywriting skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Interest in content creation like photography and videography
• Experience using web CMS such as WordPress, Umbraco, Shopify, etc.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position offering flexible hours to the successful applicant which can be discussed at the interview stage.
