Web Designer is needed in Remote, United States.

Client: Marketing For Therapists

Location: Remote

Contract: Part Time

MarketingForTherapists.org

MarketingForTherapists.org is a boutique marketing agency that provides online marketing services to mental health therapists. We’re seeking an Assistant Web Designer who can assist our SEO and Web Design teams with basic website design and support tasks such as:

  • Making edits to client websites using common CMSes like Wordpress or Squarespace
  • Installing GA4/GTM and setting up conversion tracking
  • Customizing prebuilt template websites to fit client branding

If you’re a great fit in the role, there may be the opportunity for growing into new responsibilities, such as designing custom landing pages or building small websites for clients.

About Us

Our team is fully remote, and we have a mix of part-time and full-time team members. We drive exceptional results for our clients, and we strive to be the best provider in our niche for the services we offer.

Beyond our impact on their bottom line, our clients appreciate our commitment to

  • Transparency (we give all the information they need to make an informed choice and don’t resort to pushiness or hard sells)
  • Ethics (we don’t work with unlicensed therapists or those who use ineffective psuedoscientific treatments) and
  • Trustworthiness (we don’t recommend services that we don’t think will benefit the client, and we don’t recommend a more expensive service when a cheaper one would do just fine.)

The work we do helps therapists serve more clients - and that matters.

What It Takes

Success in this job comes down to two factors.

One is professionalism - can you manage your time effectively, communicate well with clients, and be proactive to put your best foot forward? You can prove this to us based on how you present during your application and interview. (Taking the time to write a cover letter goes a long way.)

The other piece is your technical expertise. We’re looking to hire someone who can hit the ground running on day one. You should be very comfortable making edits to the front end on Wordpress or Squarespace, setting up Google Tag Manager, and troubleshooting basic problems that might arise on a website.

Bonus points if you have experience working in the mental health or medical space.

Other Details

  • Hours required will vary based on client demand and which responsibilities you own. This will probably be 5-10 hours per week at first, but more hours are possible as your responsibilities grow
  • This is a 1099 contractor position and offers no benefits.
  • Completely flexible schedule - as long as you hit your deadlines and respond to emails within a reasonable timeframe, you can arrange your work however you like.
  • Open to US or Canadian residents.
  • Immediate start preferred, but could delay for the right candidate.
