Role Description

This is a contract/hybrid role located in Detroit Metropolitan Area, with flexible work arrangements that allow some remote work. As a Software Engineer at Cordiem Lockhart, you will work within a diverse and collaborative team to design and develop software solutions that meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include participating in the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software, and identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar languages
• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
• Experience with software development tools, such as Git, JIRA, or similar tools
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Experience with web development, database design, or UI/UX design is a plus
• Experience with mobile app development is a plus
