Job Description:

We are currently looking for two skilled Back-End Software Developers to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position with a duration of 12 months. As a Back-End Software Developer at Synovize, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable back-end systems for our clients’ applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and develop efficient back-end systems for web and mobile applications.
• Utilize your expertise in Java, Kotlin, AWS, BigData, Kafka, and Python to implement and integrate necessary backend services and data processing functionalities.
• Design and develop APIs and microservices that communicate with front-end components and external systems.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of the back-end systems through proper optimization and testing.
• Work closely with front-end developers to understand and fulfill their requirements, ensuring smooth integration and seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database structures and queries.
• Implement security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to back-end software development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during the development process.
• Maintain code integrity and organization using version control systems, such as Git.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Back-End Software Developer, showcasing your ability to design and develop robust back-end systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services, BigData processing, Kafka, and Python.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and query optimization.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
• US citizenship is required for this position.
• No security clearance is necessary.
