Job Description

This is a contract Wedding Photographer role for an on-site photographer located in San Francisco, CA and the Bay area. The Wedding Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs of wedding events, including pre-wedding festivities and the ceremony itself. They will be expected to work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to creatively utilize the surrounding environment to capture captivating images.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional photography experience with a diverse portfolio of work
• Excellent knowledge of photographic technicalities, including lighting, composition, and color correction
• Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments and take direction
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours around the needs of clients
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to be friendly and non-obtrusive while capturing momentous occasions
• Ability to take a limited number of photos using film cameras is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in photography, art, or a related field is preferred
