Job Description:

We are looking for 2D Toon Boom Rigged Animators to work on ABC iView comedy shorts as part of the “Fresh Blood” program. The animators will be responsible for bringing the animated characters to life by composited them onto live-action backplates and keying around live actors. The project has a limited budget and requires the completion of character animations for all three videos by mid-January. We are looking for animators with solid Harmony Toon Boom animator skills, experience working with 2D rigged controls, and the ability to work with live action backplates. The role can be done remotely, but the animators should be available for meetings.

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Toon Boom animation software
• Experience working with 2D rigged controls
• Familiarity with compositing animated characters onto live-action backplates
• Ability to key around live actors
• Freelancers with their own software and hardware preferred
• Ability to work remotely with the availability for meetings
