Job Description:
The Institute for Families (IFF) at the Rutgers University School of Social Work is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing content for various learning materials such as Instructor Guides, Participant Guides, Handouts, PowerPoint presentations, and videos. They will also assist with the instructional design needs of human service programs and handle communication with the sponsor of a $7M award. This is a part-time position with a flexible work arrangement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent knowledge and application of adult learning principles
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and team members
- Experience in instructional design
Additional Information:
- Position status: Part-time
- Hours per week: 19.5
- Work arrangement: Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (temporary pilot program)
- FLSA: Nonexempt
- Position salary: $40-55/hour
- Terms of appointment: Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly
