Job Description
The Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Digital Content Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and implementing digital content for ICA, including social media channels, email newsletters, video promos and animations, and website maintenance. The coordinator will work within the Marketing and Communications division to support ICA’s mission of connecting with diverse audiences through the support of artists and ideas that explore socio-political conditions. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling content across digital platforms, contributing to content creation, receiving training on workflow systems, and maintaining a proactive approach in the digital space.
Requirements
- Passion for contemporary art and reaching diverse audiences
- Excellent writing skills
- Proven success in creating digital content and social media marketing
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail-oriented
- Skilled at communicating ideas internally across teams
- Familiarity with digital platforms and knowledge of how to leverage and optimize content for each
- Ability to maintain website content and ensure accuracy and completeness of information
- Experience with formatting images/gifs and selecting content for newsletters
- Ability to work with freelance designers and videographers

- The pay range for the position is $7.25 - $155.75.
