Job Description:
My client is seeking a freelance design engineer to cover the duties of a current designer on paternity leave during January 2024. The work will involve a wide range of tasks, including art working and conceptual design, with a heavier focus on art working. The successful candidate should be adaptable and able to handle various design briefs, collaborating with the in-house studio team as needed. Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Prezi, Final Cut, and other design software is required.
Requirements:
- Experience as a design engineer or similar role
- Strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Prezi, Final Cut, etc.
- Ability to adapt and work on different design briefs
- Collaborative mindset to work with in-house studio team
- Availability for 2-3 days a week during January 2024
- Ability to work remotely
- Understanding of outside IR35 regulations
- Contract or freelance experience
Additional Information:
- Contract length: 1 month (January 2024)
- Working hours: 2-3 days a week (part-time)
- Location: Rothwell
- Rate: Circa £250 - £275 (day rate)
