Job Description

Fahlgren Mortine is looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join its expanding digital/technology team. This is a temporary position with potential to become full-time. The Junior .NET Developer is responsible for coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable customer facing websites and applications using modern design trends and technologies along with leading in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop on .Net web site development projects on new and maintenance projects.
• Work closely with project team members to fulfill project requirements and contribute to accurately estimate work and meet deadlines.
• Work in accordance with the coding and documentation standards.
• Work with the Lead Developer and/or Dev Manager to determine the optimal technical approach for a project.
• Work with Interface Developers to integrate the front and back end of a given project.
• Collaborate with design resources as needed to facilitate overall project success.
• Foster teamwork within a diverse environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and open communication.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with the following: .NET 4+ Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, LINQ, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, CSS, JSON, GIT.
• Familiarity of web application development best practices, including use case development, object-oriented analysis, design and programming, reusable design patterns and multi-tier architectures.
• Knowledge of current web standards.
• Ability to write code that is clear, well-commented, free of errors and easy to maintain.
• Familiarity with SQL and ORM libraries.
• Knowledge of REST API methodologies years.
• Ability to debug web applications and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Ability to learn new programs and technologies quickly.
• Problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting.
• Effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
