Job Description

A freelance photographer is a self-employed professional who provides photography services to clients on a project-by-project basis. They capture images for a wide range of purposes, including events, portraits, commercial advertising, product photography, and more.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in using different types of cameras, lenses, and photography equipment.
• Understand the principles of composition, lighting, exposure, and color theory to capture high-quality images.
• Knowledge of various photography styles, such as portrait, landscape, product, event, and more.
• Consult with clients to understand their photography needs and goals.
• Provide estimates and quotes for photography services.
• Discuss and plan the logistics of the photo shoot, including location, timing, and any special requirements.
• Select and prepare equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, lighting, and props.
• Edit and retouch photos to enhance their quality and meet client expectations.
• Use photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, to adjust colors, exposure, and other elements.
• Organize and store photos, ensuring they are easily accessible.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a photographer.
• Proficiency in using various types of cameras, lenses, and photography equipment.
• Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, exposure, and color theory.
• Familiarity with different photography styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and meet client’s photography needs and goals.
• Experience with photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
• Ability to work independently and manage own projects.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: AED11.00 - AED15.00 per hour
