Job Description

As the TikTok Video Content Editor for RunwayX, you will play a crucial role in crafting visually compelling and engaging short-form videos that resonate with our target audience. You will collaborate closely with external collaborators, influencers, and creative teams to bring our brand to life on TikTok, showcasing our latest collections, fashion insights, and behind-the-scenes content.

Responsibilities

1. Video Editing: Edit and produce high-quality, on-brand TikTok videos that showcase RunwayX’s women’s wear collections. Utilize creative editing techniques, transitions, and effects to captivate the audience and maintain a fresh and trendy aesthetic.

2. Content Ideation: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for TikTok content that aligns with RunwayX’s brand image and messaging. Create pre-recorded content for TikTok, showcasing behind-the-scenes looks, fashion hauls, and styling tutorials. Ensure content aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and values.

3. Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends, challenges, and features to ensure RunwayX’s content remains relevant and resonates with the target demographic. Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, especially in women’s clothing. Provide fashion tips, styling advice, and insights during live sessions.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with the social media and creative teams to align TikTok content with overall marketing strategies and campaigns. Collaborate with influencers, fashion bloggers, and other relevant TikTok creators to enhance brand visibility. Explore partnership opportunities to expand our TikTok presence.

5. Content Creation: Utilize analytics to assess the performance of content and identify opportunities for improvement. Iterate and optimize content based on audience engagement and platform algorithms.

6. Audience Engagement: Foster a strong community on TikTok by building relationships with followers. Actively participate in trending challenges and leverage popular hashtags.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video content editor, with a strong portfolio of TikTok or short-form video content.
• Proficiency in video editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Final Cut Pro).
• A keen eye for fashion trends and an understanding of the women’s wear market.
• Familiarity with TikTok trends, challenges, and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
