Job Description:

SmartAssets is seeking a passionate and talented Junior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality display components and supporting both new and existing components through development and testing. As part of the Stagwell Marketing Cloud, our AI platform empowers brands and creative agencies to produce high-quality advertising content by providing insight into the effectiveness of their creative choices. We leverage industry-leading technology and enjoy privileged access to agencies across the advertising spectrum.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in React v17.0+ and Styled Components
• Strong understanding of version control tools, preferably Git
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Familiarity with front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand and manage project priorities and deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Bonuses):

• Experience with React Query [TanStack], Axios, and Testing-Library
• Familiarity with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience working with large codebases and state management

Languages:

• English & Spanish

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to apply skills learned in a practical context, whether through traditional employment, freelance projects, contributions to open-source projects, or practical work completed in coding bootcamps
