Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in AI, Cloud Services, and Software Development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science concepts, and will be proficient in Python and Scala.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Google Cloud products and services like VertexAI and BigQuery.
• Develop backend services and API solutions for both frontend and backend applications.
• Optimize machine learning models in a production context.
• Work with large data sets, simulation/optimization, and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, Arena, etc.).
• Build AI applications using Python on top of LLMs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and Python coding.
• 3+ years of experience in a statistical and/or data science role.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala. Background in programming in C, C+, Java is beneficial.
• Experience with SQL, Spark, Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, Statsmodels, Stan, pymc3, Caret, Scikit learn, Keras, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Databricks.
• Knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, LangChain, Llama Index, or similar.
• Frontend development experience and contributions to open-source projects.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Experience with SAFe framework.
• Understanding of DevOps principles.
• Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools.
• Knowledge of software development practices and principles.
