Product Designer is needed in Bengaluru, India.

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Contract: Contractor

Job Description:

- Lead the development of the neuromodulation device’s aesthetic and ergonomic aspects. - Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure a harmonious balance between form and function. - Conduct user research to understand the needs and preferences of potential users. - Implement user-centered design principles to enhance the overall user experience. - Create conceptual designs and visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively. - Collaborate with stakeholders to refine design concepts based on feedback and functional requirements. - Select materials that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also align with safety and comfort requirements. - Specify finishes and textures to enhance the tactile and visual qualities of the device. - Work closely with the prototyping team to create physical prototypes for user testing and evaluation. - Embrace an iterative design process, incorporating feedback to refine and improve the industrial design. - Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure that the industrial design aligns with mechanical requirements. - Coordinate with electrical and electronics teams to integrate visual elements seamlessly. - Develop and maintain a cohesive design language that aligns with Sputnik Brain’s brand identity. - Ensure consistency in visual elements across the neuromodulation device and associated materials. - Address usability and accessibility considerations in the design to cater to a diverse user base. - Collaborate with user experience (UX) designers to optimize the device for ease of use. - Apply human factors principles and anthropometric data to create designs that accommodate a wide range of users. - Consider variations in user anatomy and behavior for optimal design outcomes. - Assess the environmental impact of design choices and materials. - Collaborate with environmental compliance teams to support sustainability goals. - Generate detailed design documentation and specifications for the manufacturing team. - Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations. - Stay informed about design trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in the industrial design field. - Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to advance the overall design of Sputnik Brain’s products.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in industrial design, preferably in the context of medical devices or consumer electronics. - Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. - Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the success of Sputnik Brain’s neuromodulation device outcomes.
