Job Description:

Stryker is seeking a Marketing Assistant for a temporary contract to cover for maternity leave. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for understanding key competitors and customer groups, identifying customer needs and preferences, providing feedback to marketing leadership, aiding in the construction of the marketing plan, supporting sales training initiatives, and tracking results using appropriate scorecards and KPIs. The Marketing Assistant will also be the subject matter expert for applicable products and will need to field technical questions. The position requires excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 6 months of Marketing experience required
• MBA preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
• Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
• Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
