Job Description

The Video Podcast Producer & Editor will be responsible for leading the evolution of our brand’s personality and voice through the development of entirely new content formats and channels. As a part of this development, you will collaborate with our Executive Producer and social team to extend the brand across platforms and reach new audiences with a focus on high volume, original content. This is a part-time position with full-time possibility.

Requirements

• You consistently engage with today’s trends in culture, tech, and digital media.
• You produce meaningful work through a strategic lens.
• You are fluent in social media platforms, landscape, and culture.
• You possess excellent communication, organization, and file management skills.
• You can manage multiple creative briefs across varying audiences and deadlines.
• You have demonstrated editing capabilities with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Create video content for various platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with excellent judgement, instincts and an informed point of view based on industry trends and best practices.
• Monitor relevant blogs, news sites and other industry information sources to source context-specific, relevant social content appropriate to each channel.
• Actively investigate and suggest new ways to improve engagement on all platforms, including emerging social media outlets.
• Analyze content performance and report on activities, including key insights to shape and drive content strategy moving forward.
• Combine various mediums, such as video, screen capture, slides, audio, graphics, and pictures to that can be repurposed in a myriad of contexts
• Create video and digital content that will help articulate who we are as a company and what we stand for at Shakti Studios. This could be a documentary-style “day in the life,” an instagram reel, a “behind the scenes” livestream at an event – so many possibilities!
