Title: Backend Java Developer

Story Behind the Need: Additional support needed for Client’s knowledge database project. This position would aid in the day-to-day operations of the team. This position has a very high likelihood of being extended to a 12-18 month position as the HM is looking to grow their team additionally in the coming months.

Project: As a Java Backend Developer, you will contribute to the overall success of the Client Digital organization, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the business strategies and objectives, practicing an agile mindset all the way.

Requirements

Must Have Skills:

• 3 years Development Experience using Java and Spring Boot
• Previous User Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, CI/CD
• Must have experience working with any Database

Nice To Have Skills:

• Previous Client experience an asset
• Experience applying Design Patterns and Best Engineering Practices

Soft Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build and foster relationships with business partners, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors.
• Maintain continuous improvement behaviour and commitment to expand set of skills.

Education: Post Secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
