Job Description

Debenhams, a part of the Boohoo family, is seeking an SEO Executive to join the performance marketing team. This role is essential for driving the success of the digital marketing campaigns for Debenhams and other brands within the group. The SEO Executive will be responsible for executing the SEO strategy, improving organic search rankings, increasing website traffic, and enhancing the online presence of the brands.

Requirements

  • Previous SEO experience, preferably in the fashion, beauty, or home sector
  • Ecommerce experience is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO concepts and ability to conduct technical site audits
  • Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques
  • Understanding of recent history of Google algorithm updates
  • Copywriting skills are desirable, but strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Sistrix
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Information

This is a fixed term contract for 9-12 months with a start date in January. The SEO Executive will report to the SEO Manager. The role is part of the performance marketing team for Debenhams, Coast, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis, Wallis, Burton, MissPap, and Warehouse.
