Job Description:

We are seeking a 2D animator to join our creative team and contribute to the development of our game, Ever Flame. As an animator, you will collaborate with the team to create expressive and visually appealing 2D animations that align with our project objectives and creative vision. You will utilize spline-based animation tools and software to bring our characters and action sequences to life. Additionally, you will participate in animation reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the overall creative process.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in 2D animation, with a focus on spline-based techniques and software
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in spline-based animation tools (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Moho, Adobe Animate)
• Exceptional animation and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail, composition, and visual aesthetics
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of Spine-based 2D animation skills and styles
• Creative, innovative, and passionate about animation

Additional Information:

• The role is equity-based until revenue is generated, then it turns into profit-sharing
• No minimum work hours, but people generally work between 5 to 20 hours per week
• Founder and CEO is Yash Jain
• The company is building the game Ever Flame, which combines fitness, mindfulness, diet, and sleep into a fun RPG
• Compensation includes equity and profit-sharing
