Job Description:

Our client in the Telecommunications and Media Industry is looking for an Android engineer to help drive their prototypes and UI component libraries forward. This role is to support their Entertainment vertical.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• 1+ years of Android app development experience
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Proven ability to collaborate and iterate with UI/UX product designers
• Past experience working with Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop files
• Passion for design and attention to detail
• Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A self-starter, looking to help out
• Highly adaptable

Other Information:

• Long term contract with the potential to extend or convert
• 55-65hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
• Need to be local to Philadelphia to go onsite for a 1 day onsite requirement

The XD Engineering team bridges the gap between design and development. Work across all verticals. Utilize same code frameworks as product. Vet and iterate design decisions. Create tangible prototypes for senior leadership. Solve edge-cases before handing to production. Build internal tools to increase XD productivity. Build for user testing to improve products. Contribute code to make user experience a priority.
