Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to build, maintain, and optimize local NL platform capabilities for the banking sector. They are looking for an engineer with modern engineering skills and competencies such as innovation, creativity, attention to detail, and communication.

Contribute to the frontend development of a large banking company! Responsibilities include:

• Working with a multidisciplinary team and knowledge sharing.
• Experienced JavaScript developer with expertise in Azure, NPM, and the latest JavaScript versions.
• Strong analytical skills and quick understanding of new technologies and trends.
• Experience in presentations, workshops, and effective communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Critical thinking abilities to accelerate development and improve customer experience.
• Fluent in English and a team player at social events.

Requirements:

The following skills and experience are required for the frontend engineer role:

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6/ESNext), HTML, CSS, and NPM.
• Expertise in web component-based development.
• Ability to translate discussions with stakeholders and product owners into software with real business value.
• Familiarity with UX and RESTful API design principles.
• Advocate for software quality through adequate testing with tools such as Web Test Runner, Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, etc.
