Job Description

As a Freelance Senior Digital Designer, you will work closely with creative and technical disciplines to create design systems for websites, marketing and event email communications, and other elements. This role requires creativity, logic, and a holistic approach in areas such as typography, iconography, motion, and interface elements. You will also be responsible for auditing current designs, creating prototypes, refining designs based on feedback, preparing design files, and collaborating with the Senior Art Director and project teams.

Requirements

  • Pixel-perfect digital design portfolio highlighting storytelling and problem-solving capabilities
  • Interest in championing brand identity through consistency and flexibility
  • Proficiency in design elements, particularly typography, balance, and proportion
  • Systematic thinking and ability to anticipate the impact of design decisions
  • Excellent digital file structure and asset management skills
  • Attention to detail and passion for pixel-perfection
  • Strong verbal and digital communication skills
  • Ability to deliver design rationale and files within tight timeframes
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, design systems, or strict style guidelines
  • Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, and Sketch
  • Clear communication and presentation skills for both creative and technical audiences
  • Strong understanding of web development, including HTML and CSS
  • UX and/or UI experience, knowledge of iconography, and familiarity with Principle
  • Ability to articulate design rationale and participate in debates
