Job Description

We are looking for an experienced 2D animator to join our team and collaborate with the creative team to develop animation concepts, storyboards, and animatics for our game, Ever Flame. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of spline-based animation techniques and software and be able to create expressive and visually appealing 2D animations. They will work closely with the creative team to ensure consistency in style, quality, and execution across all animation assets. Additionally, the animator will participate in animation reviews and critiques, incorporate feedback and revisions, troubleshoot technical issues, and stay current with industry trends and best practices. They will also contribute to the overall creative process by providing input and suggestions for character design and visual storytelling. Meeting project deadlines and milestones and managing workload effectively will be crucial in this role.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in 2D animation, with a focus on spline-based techniques and software
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in spline-based animation tools (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Moho, Adobe Animate)
• Exceptional animation and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail, composition, and visual aesthetics
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of Spine-based 2D animation skills and styles
• Creative, innovative, and passionate about animation

Compensation: Equity compensation that will turn into profit sharing based on duration at Hero Trainer

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
